It was also a wired controller, which plugged into the front of the PlayStation into a specially designed controller port a feature ditched in later permutations of the joypad. When i changed it back today and turned on the game, it still didn't work (that was after I replied that I am freakin retarded lol). But it didn't work so I put it in port 2, that obviously didn't work. Sunday when I was trying to play FFVII, I had it in port1.
